Green Spot Investment is a proudly Kenyan sole proprietorship, officially registered in 1997 and rooted in a deep commitment to sustainability, community empowerment, and responsible business.
Our journey began in 2018, supplying firewood to textile and edible oil industries. Back then, we operated on a small scale — generating about Ksh 50,000 a month, which translated to just 10 tonnes of firewood. But we knew there was a better, more sustainable way to provide fuel without harming our environment.
In 2020, we took a bold step forward by introducing coconut shells as an alternative industrial fuel. This innovation not only reduced the need to cut down trees but also helped our clients save on electricity costs. The coconut shells came from Kenya’s Coast Region, where we partnered with women and youth to collect them. We also secured a major supply contract with Kentaste, the largest coconut oil producer in the region — turning what was once waste into a valuable, eco-friendly resource.
Our mission didn’t stop there. In 2022, we expanded our product range to include cashew nut shells and macadamia shells as industrial fuel. Once again, we worked closely with local communities, creating casual labour opportunities and empowering youth and women through meaningful work.
Today, Green Spot Investment stands as a trusted supplier of sustainable biomass fuels to industries across Kenya — combining environmental responsibility with community upliftment. Every shell we deliver represents not just clean energy, but also jobs, conservation, and progress.

Our Mission
To achieve our vision, we need to increase the supply of shells by:
1) Buying shells in bulk when they are in season. This time the price is down.
2) Put up go down for storing the shells bought in bulk and later sell them when off season at a higher price.
Our Vision
Our vision is to put up a coconut oil processing firm, produce coconut oil. Its by product we use to produce animal feeds and have our shells in plenty.
We also intend to make Cashew nut and Macadamia nut processing company. Here we shall process nuts for export, by product make animal feed and still get our shells.
We intend to be the leading supplier of shells for sustainable energy.
