Cashew Nut Shells – A Sustainable Energy Source

In 2022, Green Spot Investment expanded its product range to include cashew nut shells as an alternative fuel for industrial use. Just like with coconut shells, our aim was to offer a cleaner, cost-effective, and renewable energy source while creating local employment.

Our cashew nut shells are sourced from farming regions in Kenya where cashew production is high. We work hand-in-hand with local communities, engaging youth and women to collect, sort, and prepare the shells for delivery. This not only supports livelihoods but also ensures we maintain a steady, high-quality supply for our clients.
